Reach

Reach represents the number of unique people who saw your ad at least once. Unlike impressions (which count total displays), reach counts unique individuals. It is an important metric in awareness campaigns, helping you understand how many different people you reached.

Real-World Example

Your Meta Ads campaign has 100,000 impressions and a reach of 45,000. That means 45,000 unique people saw the ad, each an average of ~2.2 times (frequency).
